About Us

A family cashew house, still on the island

Huatra is a B2B brand by Methee, a family-run cashew producer rooted in Phuket for over fifty years. What began in 1972 as a local cashew business has stayed exactly that — local, family-held, and made on the island.

Every cashew we sell is hand-selected and crafted in Phuket. We roast, season, and pack in our own workshop, which is why we can hold the standard across a single jar and a thousand-piece programme alike.

Huatra is the part of that business built for hospitality. Hotels came to us asking for something in the room that actually belonged to the island — not an imported snack in a generic wrapper. So we made it.

Proudly Phuket

Three generations, one island

The business has passed through the family without leaving Phuket. The same growers, the same roasting knowledge, the same insistence that a cashew is either hand-selected or it does not go in the bag.

That continuity is the point. When a hotel puts our packaging in a room, it is putting something with a real address behind it.

Our own factory and workshop

Sorting, roasting, seasoning, and packing all happen under our own roof in Phuket. The woven and hand-finished packaging comes from workshops on the same island, worked by people we know by name.

Because production and design sit in the same place, a custom brief does not have to travel. You talk to one team from the first conversation to the delivery note.
